For me the last 5 years have been the most telling on the prophecy ladder. But the last few months alone did the trick for me. The earthquake in China and floods of Burma have been to me a reaffirmation of the urgency of this message. The Tsunami in 2004 may have been the most shocking event in the natural world but what has been most striking to me is the number of natural disasters since that great event.
God has not left us in the dark about what will happen before Jesus comes again. Jesus himself foretold the events preceding His second coming. In Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21 Jesus spoke of the final tumultuous events of earth's final chapter. Earthquakes, famines, wars and rumours of war, outbreaks of diseases, false Christs and prophets are just some of the signs of the end of time. Some may say these things have always happened, what is different now? Why should we think that we may be the last generation?
Almost all of the prophetic signs showing the second coming of Christ have been fulfilled!
'And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world...and then shall the end come'

Jesus Is Coming!
For almost 2000 years the promise of Jesus' second coming has inspired, enlivened and emboldened the hearts of many men and women. There have been times when the light of this hope has almost been extinguished and nearly forgotten. But even in the darkest of ages the glorious appearing of Jesus was always the centre of the believer's faith.
Described by one as the 'blessed hope', it is more than just wishful thinking, more than sooth saying but a definite literal event that will be the end of the world as we know it. Jesus' first advent happened precisely as prophesied in the old testament and in the precise time that it was predicted. As he left the earth Jesus he had this to say ' Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my father's house are many mansions: If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself, that where I am, there ye may be also.' John 14:1-3
Jesus explained what would happen before he comes again and gave an assurance that his words were true. In that assurance was the promise of his second coming: 'Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away' Matthew 24: 35 Jesus is coming again!
